All our glassware has been skillfully and lovingly made by people with disabilities in Tanzania. The glasses are each individually hand crafted by deaf artisans who have learned the complex art of glassblowing using traditional methods.
Typically, our handmade glass is more solid and heavier than you would normally find in a similar product produced by machines. It takes special creativity, attention and skill to create even one glass and not one will ever be identical to another. You will notice that each glass is unique and different with variations in their shapes, sizes and colours. Some may see this as imperfection…we see this as inspired beauty.
